A proficient text can entertain, educate or move. The exceptional text can achieve all three. Indeed, when a text is exceptional, it often proves to be effective. It is precisely this effective communication that particularly captivates my interest.
With a background in rhetoric, I am trained in how to communicate messages most efficiently and effectively. How does one achieve this? One method is by knowing one’s audience. When you understand your audience, you know how to tailor the message to deliver it at eye level.
Communication at eye level is indeed one of the most effective strategies when aiming to engage individuals to listen or read further. Moreover, by ensuring that your text is entertaining, instructive and emotionally compelling, communication becomes exceptionally effective, ensuring that your message is heard.
This is among the aspects I assist my talented colleagues with here at Promentum.
About Kasper
Kasper is an experienced communicator with a particular focus on text production, argumentation, and speechwriting.
He holds a Master of Arts degree in rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen, specialising in argumentation and debating. He has a background as a communication consultant and communication manager and has written speeches for a mayor.
When Kasper is not writing, he spends his time with his wife and children, discussing books with his book club or attending ‘Take That’ concerts (which he believes he attends too infrequently, according to his own assessment and too frequently, according to everyone else).
